What is suspension training? The simplest distinguishing feature is that the users hands or feet are suspended by a single anchor point while the other end is in contact with the ground. Using the TRX, the desired percentage of your own body weight is loaded (via position and angle) into a targeted zone then animated for the exercise. It can be used with all fitness levels and builds great functional strength, stability and flexibility.  Exercising on the TRX utilizes gravity and movement to generate neuromuscular responses to changes in body position and mechanical advantage. The TRX integrates strength and balance into a single dynamic format that taxes the nervous system at a high level and maximizes benefits for faster results.

Born in the US Navy SEAL Teams – the world’s finest commandos who are professional athletes of the most serious kind. Development of the TRX® Suspension Trainer® began among these ranks as an invention of necessity. In wharf-side warehouses, urban safe-houses, on ships and inside submarines, the company’s founder, Randy Hetrick, and his SEAL teammates searched for ways to stay in peak condition while stashed away on missions. The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise – because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.
